Greg Hardy lost a season in the NFL after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.
The Cowboys defensive end was also forced to relinquish 10 of his assault rifles & shotguns in his home the night he reportedly slammed Nicole Holder.
Hardy was convicted in a trial last year, but had the verdict overturned on appeal. He got his life and career back — but the guns are going to be destroyed.
Hardy parted ways with the weapons himself — hopefully as a gesture to the changes he’s made in his life.
“The attorney on behalf of Mr. Hardy has relinquished the weapons and they remain in the property of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office,” spokesman Rob Brisley said, via the Charlotte Observer.
Hardy is appealing a 10-game suspension — handed down by the league for those domestic violence charges.
