Former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-2-1, 32KOs) will make his return on July 18th with a new trainer in his corner.
Chavez Jr. will part with veteran coach Joe Goossen, and has announced that the popular Robert Garcia will get the job for this fight.

“It’s something that I’ve had in mind for a while. I have my uncle Rodolfo (Chavez), Vladimir Baldenebro and Luis Cornejo, and I think [Garicia] would be a great addition,” said Chavez Jr. to ESPN Deportes.
Garcia trains Marcos Maidana, Brandon Rios and Mikey Garcia among others.
