Honestly, I hate to insult your intelligence with a 100000000 word post about the fight. If you ever watched Mayweather fight over the last few years, you already know what I am going say.
Mayweather defensively once again was brilliant (Pacquiao only connected 19%). Offensively, people like to say that Mayweather runs, but he threw more punches than Pacquiao. Pacquiao knew he would need to throw a high volume of punches, he simply didn’t do it and I think that had to do more with Mayweather than Pacquiao.

The thing about Mayweather is this was a pretty dominating performance against one of the best boxers of our generation. Mayweather made Pacquiao look fairly average and in doing so it enhances his legacy to the next level. It is a gift and curse for Mayweather, since he is so good at stunting his opponent’s offense, his fights are one-sided, which says a lot about how good he is, but not appealing to casual fans.
He beat the boogeyman and did so with technical precision. In the end the fight will be more known for the promotional craziness than anything that happened in the ring.
