Mike Vick broke onto the NFL scene in 2001 when he was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons. After a dog fighting ring scandal sent Vick to jail, the Philadelphia Eagles gave Vick another chance. After the Eagles let him go, he went to the Jets in 2014 to backup Geno Smith.
Vick got to start 3 games and looked like a shell of his former self. Working this offseason in Miami, he is eyeing another team signing him.
“He didn’t know if he wanted to play football again,” Chambers told The Miami Herald this week. “There was a lot of political stuff with him and Geno Smith with the Jets last year. Last two weeks, he has done phenomenal. There are several teams that want him. He wanted to be on a winning team. He wants to play three years. Eventually, he wants to start again.”
But right now, it seems like Vick is preparing to be a backup first.
Which team will sign a veteran like Vick to there team.
