At least Lionel Hollins can admit that he needs some help.
The Brooklyn Nets head coach made an appearance on the Rachel Ray Show, after writing her a letter asking for weight loss tips.
“I get a whole lot of exercise chasing referees up and down the sidelines,” Hollins wrote. “However, I know I need to do better.”
Hollins also wrote that he chose Ray because,“you are much cuter than Dr. Phil, have more hair, seem more fun and you feed your guests.” Hollins came on the show to begin a diet plan with Dr. Ian Smith to go from 240 pounds – what he weighed in at on the show – down to 220 pounds over the next six weeks.
“I’m a big fan,” Hollins told Ray of her show during his appearance. “When the season is over, I lay in bed and I watch Rachael Ray.”
Hollins will appear on the show again in a few weeks to see whether or not he’s met his weight-loss goal.
