Ahmad Bradshaw has plead no contest and paid a $351 fine for pleading no contest to a marijuana possession charge stemming from a traffic stop in Ohio on February 5th. Bradshaw has had his Ohio driving privileges suspended for the next 6 months as a part of his misdemeanor plea. Bradshaw is a free-agent, and there is no doubt that this latest charge will impede a team from signing him right away. Bradshaw is subject to punishment from commissioner Roger Goodell whenever he does sign with a team.
Troopers said Bradshaw was stopped for following another vehicle too closely on Interstate 70 in western Ohio. Trooper J.A. Barhorst said in a statement that he “smelled the strong odor of raw marijuana” coming from inside the Cadillac after he pulled it over.
A no-contest plea means Bradshaw didn’t contest the case against him. Municipal Court Judge Paul Henry then ruled him guilty.
