Maybe Mayweather knew Pacquiao was hurt or maybe he didn’t, but there is zero proof at the moment that he did, so these are just accusations from Pacquiao.
The day after the fight, Pacquiao revealed something else in a news conference with Filipino media: Mayweather found out about the injury before the fight through a leak.
“You saw he was pulling my hand. He was doing that because he knew,” he told Rappler.com. “He was pulling it. He was holding me, then he was targeting this. I’m sure he found out. Somebody leaked it to him. They knew.”
What’s interesting is Freddie Roach kept saying he had a Mayweather insider and a mole in Mayweather’s camp, but now they are complaining someone was leaking information about their camp.
Sounds more like karma than anything else.
Pacquiao is getting sued over not disclosing the injury and it isn’t on Mayweather or his team to do that for him, because even if it was leaked, there is no way they would have known about it for sure until two hours before the fight.
This is all on Pacquiao and his team.
