New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft said the team will not appeal the punishment handed down by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Several outlets, including the great Larry King, believe it was done to help lessen the penalty Tom Brady is still appealing.
Spoke to Robert Kraft today. The @Patriots owner said he won't challenge the NFL over penalties & hopes that may somehow benefit Tom Brady.

Goodell docked the Patriots a 2016 first-round draft pick and a fourth-rounder in 2017 and fined the team $1 million. Kraft could have went Al Davis, but instead, made nice with the commissioner.
