Josh Hamilton will return to the big leagues, on a holiday at that. The Rangers will reportedly activate the outfielder on Monday, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

“Josh is physically and game-ready to get started,” general manager Jon Daniels said to the Dallas Morning News. “The team is playing well, and we’re looking forward to welcoming him to the club.”
Hamilton hit .250 with three doubles and two home runs in 28 at-bats for Triple-A Round Rock as a part of his rehab assignment.
