NXT is easily the best thing WWE has going right now, and it really isn’t close. With the next highly-anticipated NXT special airing on the WWE Network in a few weeks, a rash of injuries has thrown the card into question.
The latest big name to be out of action for a while is Japanese-import Hideo Itami, who will be sidelined for quite a bit of time following a shoulder injury according to Pro Wrestling Insider.
WWE NXT star Hideo Itami is out of action with a bad shoulder injury, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
While Itami is slated to be in a three-way bout against Tyler Breeze and Finn Balor at the 5/20 NXT Takeover event, according to sources we’ve spoken to, Itami is instead expected to be out of action for 6-8 months.
With Itami being one of the top rising stars in NXT, this news could not come at a worse time for the company.
