Allen Iverson did a lot for the Sixers during his playing days, but many pundits and critics laugh at the thought of the 76ers giving him a front office job.
Recently, Larry Brown, Iverson’s former coach, discussed about Iverson’s value to the 76ers, and his eye for talent, despite having no previous experience.
When asked about a possible role during the 76ers uniform unveil, The Answer referred to himself “as a basketball genius.”
“I have a sharp mind when it comes to that look,” Iverson said. What is that “look,” you ask?
“Being able to look into somebody’s eyes and tell if they’re going to be in the foxhole with you tonight or if they’re not.”“To me, I’m a basketball genius and I really believe that” Iverson said. “So, any capacity that I could help this franchise, that’s what I’m going to do.”
Hinkie could teach Iverson some things, and it would go a long way towards getting the fans off his back, while fully supporting the organization for welcoming a legend back into the fold.
