Matthew Dellavedova will be an important cog for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the rest of the NBA Finals, but team officials first have to get over the sting of losing Kyrie Irving for 4-6 months.
In almost 10 minutes of action last night, Dellavedova totaled zero points and three assists. In what could have been seen as a warning shot, Rachel Nichols is reporting that the Cavs team bus bounced from the arena, without Dellavedova after the dissapointing loss.
Matthew Dellavedova told me he missed last call for the #Cavaliers bus last night & they left without him. Took an Uber back to the hotel.

It’s a cold world, but he can regain that good seat on the bus if he shows up in game 2.
Cavs have a different interpretation of what happened.
Important: Dellavedova had Cavs approval to miss team bus. Delly w/ family visiting from Australia, esp. sister who flew back this morning.
