The venue may have changed, but Miguel Cotto is still good for business when he fights on cable television in New York City.
The Puerto Rican superstar enjoyed a successful return to the Big Apple and HBO, as his 4th round knockout of Daniel Geale on June 6 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn pulled in an average of 1.589 million viewers, peaking at 1.621 million viewers.
Excellent viewership for live, 1st-time airing of #CottoGeale on @HBOboxing. Averaged 1.589M viewers, peak 1.621M. 3rd-best cable # of year.

Only Canelo vs Kirkland and Klitschko vs Jennings enjoyed better ratings.
It was Cotto’s sixth time playing on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade, with five of the six coming at Madison Square Garden. This year he made his boxing debut at the Barclays Center.
