Redskins wide receiver, DeSean Jackson caught some flak for skipping the start of team workouts, to watch LeBron James and the Cavs advance to the NBA Finals in person.
According to Brian McNally of 106.7 The Fan, a present Jackson, told reporters that he was “attending to personal business.”
Jackson insists he had "personal business" to take care of. OTAs are voluntary. Plenty of time left to build chemistry with RG3, other QBs

DeSean Jackson on criticism he missed 1st OTAs: "I don’t play for them and I don’t hear about them. I live my life to do what I need to do"

The Jaccpot CEO never did care about perception.
Why not just say it was voluntary — so I decided to check out a historic NBA game in person, and my employer knew I’d be unavailable.
I guess the personal business would be filming scenes for his new reality show.
