The representatives for Combs Enterprises, say Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs was defending himself against a UCLA assistant football coach, when he swung a kettlebell at him Monday afternoon.
Diddy was subsequently arrested, and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.
“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” Nathalie Moar, a rep for Combs Enterprises, said in a statement to The Associated Press. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”
The DA doesn’t expect to get Diddy’s file until sometime next week according to the report. Combs’ son Justin Combs is a redshirt junior defensive back on the Bruins football — and hasn’t seen much playing time in his three years there.
