The world we live does have its good moments.
Take the news that Kansas City Chiefs talented safety, Eric Berry, might be able to continue his NFL career. According to reports, Berry is on his way to being cancer free.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said two weeks ago that Berry has completed his treatments for Hodgkin lymphoma and would soon have his big “end-of-the-year” meeting with his doctors.
“He had a meeting with the doctors,” Reid said. “But the initial meeting I told you about was to give him answers about what’s next.”
Berry, 26, left the team in November after the Chiefs’ 24-20 loss to Oakland. After experiencing discomfort in his chest, it was determined that Berry had Hodgin lymphoma, which is considered to be highly curable.
