Antonio Allen may have derailed his college and future pro football career with this one.
Allen, a junior defensive back at Indiana, has been suspended following an arrest on multiple drug dealing charges — two counts of dealing methamphetamine, two counts of dealing heroin and one count of dealing cocaine.
Allen was also arrested for possession of heroin over 10 grams and cocaine and maintaining a common nuisance. He faces two counts each of dealing heroin and methamphetamine.
Indiana issued a statement saying it is aware of the arrest and that Allen has been suspended from all football activities.
“We will continue to gather facts, monitor the legal process, and take further action as the evolving situation warrants,” the school said.
After an investigation, the ISP said it used a search warrant on a Bloomington residence that resulted in Allen’s arrest. The Bloomington Police Department and the Indiana University Police Department assisted with the search warrant.
The Hoosiers leading tackler from last season also faces multiple possession charges as well as maintaining a public nuisance.
According to SI.com, Alen was arrested in an apartment complex directly across the street from Indiana’s Memorial Stadium.
