Hopefully, Jameis words and actions start to match up. The words sound good, but he still makes puzzling decisions at times.
Everyone isn’t your friend and there are a lot of people who get off on exposing athletes, so he has to be more careful.
“It’s about my actions. I got to be a quarterback. When I’m off the field, I got to be a quarterback; when I’m on the field, I’ve got to be a quarterback,” Winston said Friday during the Play 60 youth clinic. “I know people are going to look at me in each and every way. I just smile, man.”
“Social media can help you in so many ways from a positive standpoint,” he said. “I can’t control what people put on social media about me, but I can control my actions and what I do.”
“I really don’t pay attention to social media other than what I do. I don’t look up myself or anything like that,” he said. “When I’m socially active, it’s because I’m doing something and I don’t really pay attention to that — outside sources.”
Jameis might not pay attention to social media, but social media is paying attention to him. So, whatever he does will be tweeted, IG, Vined, Snapchatted and etc.
Be aware.
