Former Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw is likely to be suspended one game after pleading no contest to marijuana possession.
Here are some of the latest details from Bleacher Report:
Should Ahmad Bradshaw find a new home before the regular season begins, the earliest he’ll be able to suit up is Week 2. According to NFL.com’s Chris Wesseling, the free-agent running back will be suspended for one game after running afoul of the league’s substance-abuse policy.
In May, Bradshaw pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge.
So far through the offseason, Bradshaw remains without a new home, and Wesseling noted few teams have registered serious interest.
The 29-year-old ran for 425 yards and two touchdowns for the Indianapolis Colts in 2014. He also averaged 4.7 yards a carry.
Bradshaw is currently looking for a home, and something like this certainly won’t help the process. On top of his latest run in with the law, Bradshaw has battled injuries his whole career so he better walk the straight and narrow before he finds himself out off the league.
