Jameer Nelson of the Denver Nuggets is planning to opt out of his $2.85 million deal for 2015-16 seasons and enter free agency. Nelson hasn’t informed the Nuggets of his decision but both parties have met discussing Nelson’s options.
Jameer Nelson averaged 7.3 points and 4.1 assist in 23 games with the Mavericks who he signed a two-year deal with. Nelson was traded midseason and post similar stats with the Denver Nuggets scoring 9.6 points and 3.7 assists per game
Nelson has until June 29 to inform the Nuggets of his future plans.
