Timothy Bradley is coming off of a good performance versus Jessie Vargas on Saturday, excluding the controversial early stoppage by the referee, and Bradley is already looking for his next opponent.
Bradley has already been linked to Floyd Mayweather, Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin and Keith Thurman. The Thurman fight is one that intrigues a lot of boxing fans.
Bradley had this to say about the possibility of fighting ‘One Time:’
“Man, I will fight anybody. Right now I’m not thinking about Keith Thurman or anybody else. I’m just thinking about recovering. But like I tell you – I’m a throwback fighter, I’ll fight anybody….anybody in the sport. Keith Thurman is a phenomenal fighter, an explosive fighter with power in both hands. He’s definitely a specimen, but hey – I don’t back down. I’ll fight the best and I’ll continue to fight the best,” Bradley said.
Sadly, the HBO/PBC (Haymon/Arum) rivalry will make this fight difficult to book. Both outlets will want the fight as part of their broadcast and unlike the Mayweather-Pacquaio fight there won’t be blinding amounts of money throw around to fix the problems.
