In the 2001 NBA Finals, the Philadelphia 76ers won game one of the series vs the Los Angeles Lakers, only to lose the next four straight. Still, that first game was something to remember and one guy can’t shake that game, or more importantly one play from that game. Tyronn Lue was a point guard for the Lakers when Allen Iverson hit him with a nasty cross and hit a jumper as Lue fell to the floor. AI being AI took a dramatic step over the fallen Lue while staring hims down and this is the 14-year anniversary of what has been dubbed “The Step-Over”. Well, Tyronn Lue is not happy that people are posting on it. Here take a look:

When asked about the step-over anniversary Tyronn Lue, an assistant coach with the Cavs, had this message for those celebrating the occasion.

Obviously, Tyronn Lue is salty about the mockery but trying to parade his championship ring? On his contributions of 2 ppg? Come on Lue. Still, he has a ring and Iverson doesn’t so I guess he has that to hold on to.
