Birthdays are a time of celebration and a time when memories are created that will last a life time. Evelyn Jones, a Seattle Mariners fan, will definitely remember her most recent birthday. Mrs. Jones was the special guess for last nights games between the Mariners and Angels as she celebrated her 108th birthday with cake, throwing out the first pitch and setting a world record for oldest fan to throw out the first pitch of a MLB game.
The southpaw Jones flicked a nice toss over to pitcher Felix Hernandez and then was serenaded by Mariner the Moose and the crowd who sung happy birthday. Jones broke the record by three years which was held by Agnes McKee.

I think Mrs. Jones should be invited back on her birthday for the rest of her life seeing that the Mariners shutout the Angels winning 5-0. Happy Birthday Mrs. Evelyn Jones from the BSO family.
