Doc Rivers has been the face of memes the past 24 hours, but he’s finally spoken out about the DeAndre Jordan crisis. According to Dan Woike, Doc Rivers said that despite Jordan’s decision to reverse his decision to stay with the Clippers, he doesn’t owe Mark Cuban any explanations nor phone calls; that’s what an agent is for.
Doc said DJ shouldn't have made the call to Dallas. "When free agents leave, their agents call."

"DJ has never looked at himself as the 3rd guy, and we haven't either."

"Usually the team that doesn't win is not happy. Nothing we can do about that." – Doc talking about potential for signing to be challenged

Well, that explains it. At least we know Doc is thinking like a winner. Business is business. At the end of the day, you have to do whatever it takes to secure a championship position and that’s exactly what he did.
