Gameplayers of the NBA2K series can scream a little louder, because they’ll be able to play college basketball on a video game for the first time since 2009.
According to the Sporting News, NBA2K16 has acquired the license rights to 11 universities and could grab more before the game’s September 29th release.
As of now, the loaded college hoops teams set to appear on the game are Arizona, Arizona State, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, UConn, Villanova, and Wisconsin.
You’ll only be able to use the teams during my career mode, and the roster won’t be up to date or accurate because of payment issues to NCAA athletes.
It should still be cool to start a career at Nova, and transition to be selected in the draft via the game.
