After tearing his Achilles TWICE within 2 months, cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who took a pay cut on a new contract with the Redskins, hopes to play football with the team when camp starts in a couple of days.
Hall knows he has work to do, but is optimistic about playing.
“I hope I’m ready to go the first day,” Hall said on 106.7 the Fan, via CSNWashington.com. “When I say wean me back in, I know they are going to monitor me. I know they are not going to just throw me out there and [have me] take all the reps with the [first team]. I’m just going to get out there and see how the body feels. I’m at the mercy of the trainers and coaching staff. So they’re going to kind of wean me back in slowly. But I’m excited to get back out there going with the guys,” he said.
Only time will tell if Hall evens makes an impact on a Redskins team that has tons of adversity to face, on and off the field.
