The MLB trade deadline is this Friday.
While the Dodgers have a multitude of prospects available in their farm system, they want buyers to know that Yasiel Puig is also available.
The #Dodgers have let teams know that Yasiel Puig is available in the right deal, but teams showing much more interest in their prospects.

Puig’s been slowed by various injuries this season, which possibly accounts for his drop in offensive production. He’s hitting a career-low .253/.327/.423 with six homers and 11 doubles across 53 games.
The 24-year-old Cuban is under team control through the 2018 season at an average annual value of roughly $8.2 million per year.
We told you about the whole bus fiasco earlier this month, in which Puig scuffled with teammates. He’s had a few other minor controversies with some of the men in the clubhouse, but aside from that he seems to be a power driven hot-head. There hasn’t been anything major that should scare off any veteran teams.
Players such as Puig can be extremely valuable to the right club, and eventually even mature into your prototypical home run hitting ball player (see also: Ortiz, David).
It’s worth the risk for your ball club so long as the Dodgers aren’t asking for your first born child.
