Mark Sanchez is on the West Coast putting in work! Looks like Sam Bradford is going to have to come correct when it comes to this QB race in Philly.
According to PhillyMag, Sanchez got to participate in his own little camp with the appearances of about 10 other Eagles. The camp was held with trainer, Tod Durkin, who’s been working with Sproles to build a comprehensive program for the players.
“Every day they’ve had field work where they’ve been on the field and doing their install,” said Durkin. “After they do the weight room work they go over to the high school and they watch film for about an hour and then we do our warm-up with them and bring them through all their agility and movement stuff, and then Mark leads their install and they do all that.”
Sproles had a breakout season last year and with a little competition at QB, it looks like Sanchez gets the early chance of early bonding with the Eagles offense. Bradford is currently rehabbing, but he has had his turn to work with the Philly offense this Spring. Does this extra practice Snachez is receiving give him a little edge over Bradford? Camp is around the corner and it seems Sanchez is giving no room for error.
