Houston Texans rookie Brandon Ivory is in hot water. Ivory and a man named Nicholas Gibson were taken into custody and charged with two counts of 1st degree burglary.
Former Alabama defensive tackle Brandon Ivory was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly invading and burglarizing a home in Tuscaloosa.
Sgt. Brent Blankley, a Tuscaloosa Police Department spokesman, said police were called to a house on 17th Avenue around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning to respond to a burglary in progress.
Two residents were inside, but the suspects had already left. Blankley said one of the victims had been assaulted.
Police believe the two alleged burglars kicked in the back door and robbed the residents of cash and electronics.
Ivory was a starting defensive lineman for the Tide and signed as an underrated free agent with the Texans in May. His bond is now set at $120K.
