The Connecticut Huskies are known for their historic and successful basketball powerhouse, but an optimistic football coach wants to see the same for his program.
Coach Bob Diaco went 2-10 in his 1st season under the helm, but his outlook for next season is very bold.
Neil Ostrout covers UCONN basketball and football for the Journal Inquirer tweeted Diaco’s guarantee.
Diaco: “Win. We’re going to win every game. We’re going to play as one of the four teams in the playoff and win a national championship.”

Connecticut plays in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and has a very soft schedule to say the least. Even with this in Diaco’s squad favor, it’s very unlikely the Huskies go undefeated in the 2015-16 season.
How many games do the Huskies go before being dealt their first loss?
This kind of guarantee can come back to blow up in Diaco’s face and endure a long season.
