Brock Lesnar spent most of the day at ESPN on Tuesday, hyping the huge deal that is WWE SummerSlam.
After saying that Vince McMahon is a better fight promoter than Dana White, Lesnar was asked about Ronda Rousey destroying every woman that she faces.
“She’s a super athlete in a weak division,” he said. “I think she’s a man amongst women in the women’s division. I take my hat off to her. She’s doing an excellent job at what she’s doing. I don’t know how she’s juggling everything — movies and this, that, and the other thing. … I’m not taking any talent away from her at all. She’s a super beast — super freak — in the women’s division.”
I don’t think Brock was trying to be sexist or rude, but referencing Rousey as a man will definitely be looked upon as a negative, even if she’s destroying her opponents with ease never seen before.
Rousey is likely to run out of quality opponents before the UFC is able to find one or two competitors to make things interesting.
Or Ronda is just that good — aka Floyd Mayweather — that she easily turns good fighters into paste.
Dana White is essentially working on borrowed time, before Rousey pulls a Lesnar move of her own.
