Dez Bryant’s passion is one of the reasons he is an elite receiver in the NFL.
Controlling the passion is where the issue lies. One of his greatest attributes, is one of his greatest weaknesses. That can be said about a lot of athletes.
Bryant’s value to the Cowboys is immense to the point he should never be involved in any fight with his teammates or opponents. Especially, if that fight includes him getting his helmet ripped off and punched in the nose.
This is what Dallas Morning News beat writer David Moore was trying to point out in a piece about Bryant. Just be smarter and understand your value to the team.
If you are media member who doesn’t kiss Bryant’s ass 24-7, he will lash out at you on social media and that is what he did to Moore.
Hopefully, that passion doesn’t cost Bryant and the Cowboys in the future. Because the Cowboys, many in the local media and fans are Bryant enablers he doesn’t even see the harm that he could be doing to himself or his team. Keep your helmet on, learn to throw a proper punch and the shoulder roll defense.
Smarten up Dez.
