Amidst his domination over Meek Mill, the following news is something Drake will really take pride in.
Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late becomes the first album released in 2015 to sell a million copies in the U.S., as the set sold another 8,000 copies in the week ending Aug. 7, according to Nielsen Music. Its cumulative total now stands at 1.007 million.
There’s been a lot of confusion over this project, however, because at first it was thought to be a mixtape and even Drake himself refers to it as just a mixtape.
Nonetheless, whether it’s a mixtape or an album, Drake continues to prove that he’s one of the most influential artist in music today.
