Ezekiel Elliott might be on to something as he trademarks his signature move.
During the national game, Ezekiel Elliott’s crop tops were definitely an attraction. Now, Elliott has applied for a trademark for the nicknames “Zeke” and “Eze” on any merchandise. There’s also a restaurant named Zeke’s Crop Top Bar and Grill that’s also going to get slapped with a trademark. These things aren’t out of the norm however.
He becomes the latest of a growing trend of athletes who are trademarking their names and phrases associated with their names for future earning potential. Last fall, Dak Prescott applied for trademarks on the “Dak Attack” and “Who Dak” phrases that fans were using on signs and T-shirts.
We look forward to seeing Elliott in his crop top for the Buckeyes.
