Isaiah Thomas has become one of my favorite players to watch. He’s a clean cut guy who is determined to succeed despite his small frame. Thomas has found a way to set himself apart with his speed, scoring ability and leadership. On Friday night Thomas participated in exhibition games between Seattle Pro-Am and the Drew League where he once again proved why we should never count him out due to his size.
Thomas’ squad was matched up against a team that featured the wing man Trevor Ariza of the Houston Rockets. Ariza, listed at 6’8, beat his defender to the baseline and drove to he rack for a slam only to be turned away by Thomas who is listed at only 5’9.
Ariza took it to easy to the rim. He didn’t match the determination of Thomas which landed him on the wrong end of the highlight.
