The 2015 season is on the horizon, however, I’m writing an article about something from eight months ago.
We all know Marshawn Lynch doesn’t like talking to the media, so to no surprise, he elected not to speak after Seattle’s thrilling victory over the Packers in the NFC Championship.
However, one thing we didn’t know about is the $75,000 fined he was given by the league.
Per a league source, Lynch has finally heard from the NFL about scheduling a hearing regarding a $75,000 fine imposed on him for not talking to the media after the NFC Championship Game against the Packers. If you don’t recall hearing about a $75,000 fine imposed on Lynch for not talking to the media after the NFC Championship Game, there’s a good reason for that. The fine had never been previously reported nor disclosed.
This is another example of Roger Goodell running a shaky operation because there’s no reason Lynch should just now be finding out about this. We need answers.
