The training camp injuries continue for NFL players, this time striking the Baltimore Ravens. Safety Matt Elam, drafted in the 1st round of the 2013 draft, has been an important part of the Ravens since Ed Reed left and now it seems he will miss the entire season because of a biceps injury.
Coach John Harbaugh is not very optimistic about Elam’s return.
“I haven’t heard on the MRI yet, but I’m not real optimistic right now,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said via The Sun. “I haven’t heard a final word, but it wasn’t very optimistic talking to the doctors. He was reaching, the receiver ran by him and kind of reached for him and caught him.”
