The Baltimore Ravens drafted wide receiver Breshad Perriman with plans of making him a deep threat, those plans haven’t panned out yet. Perriman’s 4.2 speed hasn’t help the Ravens at all because he has been sidelined since July 30 with a sprained PCL in his right knee.
Source said MRI results for #Ravens WR Breshad Perriman were "normal." Just healing slow. Should be back in a week or so.

Perriman has missed all of camp which could slow him down in learning his role with the team. I’m sure he’s taking as many mental reps as possible so that he is ready to aid Steve Smith and Joe Flacco when he returns. The No. 2 receiver role is there for Perriman to take once he’s healthy.
