Baylor has suspended offensive coordinator Kendal Briles and wide receivers coach Tate Wallis for a recruiting violation that occurred during the 2015 spring evaluation period.
Briles and Wallis will miss the upcoming game against Lamar.
Interesting news out of Baylor: OC Kendal Briles and WR coach Tate Wallis suspended for Lamar game for a spring 2015 recruiting violation.

Baylor coaches' NCAA violation was "related to evaluations of prospective student-athletes during the spring 2015 recruiting period."

It has not been made clear what exactly the recruiting violation was, but it was more than likely a case of the coaches making contact with a recruit when they shouldn’t.
Whatever the case is, having them suspended from a meaningless game against Lamar isn’t really cracking the whip in my book. If you want to start holding coaches responsible for their actions on the recruiting trail then you need to make them miss a significant game on the schedule.
Just my two cents.
