The injury happened on a play in which Wade was sacked by Nile Lawrence-Stample of the Seminoles. Wade is expected to undergo surgery later this week with an expected 3-month rehab processes.
Jeff Smith will be the guy for the rest of the season with Wade out. He is a true freshman with very little experience. Troy Flutie, nephew of former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie, will serve as his back up.
