CJ Anderson has been struggling to start the season. NFL.com shows that CJ Anderson is own in 97% of their leagues and started in 82% of leagues. So no surprised that fantasy owners are not pleased with his 56 rushing yards through 2 games. CJ Anderson wants everyone to know that he knows he’s been stinking it up but it’s your fault for drafting him.
“I don’t go to other people’s jobs and tell them: ‘Hey, you (stink). You’re trash…I laugh. I just black it out and laugh…I guess that’s kind of the ups and downs of being a top-10 pick and who they expect you to be. I just always say: ‘Don’t bet on sports. You never know what’s going to happen.’ That’s just my personal opinion, but I couldn’t care less about fantasy.”
“You can sit me for 17 weeks. It would not bother me one bit. I don’t care…I saw something on ESPN: ‘Is C.J. Anderson a fantasy bust?’ I wish I could call ESPN and say: ‘Tell them to drop me. … Every owner can drop me.’”
Anderson is right, it sucks to waste a pick but you can drop him. CJ isn’t losing sleep over Fantasy owners mad about his production. But I never understood players upset about fans playing fantasy football. Players success equals fantasy owners’ success and vice versa. Long as fans aren’t sending death threats about fantasy football it’s all fun and games.
