The Hurricanes have started the season 3-0, but that is irrelevant to fed up fans. At every game this season, a banner has flown over the stadium calling for head coach Al Golden to be fired. It seems nothing can appease fans thus far, but Seminoles fans beg to differ.
In an effort to show their appreciation to Golden for what many critics consider very poor coaching of the talent that is recruited to the University of Miami, Seminoles fans have started a GoFundMe campaign in an effort to keep Golden as the coach.
The Noles are, of course, trolling as their campaign reads the following:
Al Golden has done a terrific job in keeping Miami irrelevant, Cane fans want him gone. However in Tallahassee we love Coach Golden, that’s why we want to show our love in 3 weeks when the canes come to Tallahassee, with a banner that will fly over the stadium…for an hour.
Let’s see if the Seminoles can raise the funds to fly the banner over Doak Campbell Stadium.
