You should have drafted your Fantasy Football teams by now or your commissioner sucks no Goodell. You should now be making the last minute tweaks to your lineup for week one. So who should you start, release or pick up. Or as I’m calling it who should you marry, kill, or smash. Who’s your Beyonce, Ciara, and Rihanna for Fantasy football this week? Its week one so you shouldn’t have fell out of love with your draft picks yet. But just in case you already have buyer’s remorse here’s who you should Marry, Kill, Smash.
Marry= Davante Adams
Two key things; First no Jordy Nelson for the Packers. Second Aaron Rodgers always finds a way to get the most out of his receivers. Since Rodgers has taken over it has been next man up as he’s lost receiver after receiver (Jennings, James Jones, Driver). Adams had an impressive rookie season while be the 3rd and 4th receiving option in Green Bay. Against Dallas last post season he caught the ball 7 times for 117 yards. The talent is there and now he has the opportunity
Kill= Tre Mason
Everyone picked up Mason because Gurley is out but here is why you need to drop Mason. Rams have a week 6 bye week and Gurley should be back around then. However the Rams start the season face some of the top running defenses in 2014. Seattle, Pittsburgh, Arizona and yes Washington had ranked top 15 in yards rushed against last season. Washington even ranked #2nd in causing fumbles last season. Also Mason did not practice this week and is currently a game time decision.
Smash = Terrence Williams
According to NFL.com Terrence Williams is only owned in 17% of leagues. So if he’s there grab him up. But why should you grab him this week. Mainly a home game against the NY Giants. Giants gave up a ton of receiving yards and touchdowns last season. Dez Bryant is sure to command a lot of attention on the other side of the ball. Williams will be right there to pick up the scrap. If you are in a PPR league even better idea to grab Williams. With Giants still expecting to miss star JPP, Romo will have time to get Williams the ball.
