We’ve all see people on Twitter say they will do outrageous things if they get an absurd amount of retweets. I’ve seen high school teenagers get NFL cheerleaders to go to prom with them because he got thousands of retweets.
Well it seems that a Pats fan at last night’s Thursday night matchup against the Steelers proposed to Twitter that he would run out onto the field if he got 10,000 retweets, and his plans got foiled by security at the stadium.
He wasn’t happy about how he was treated.
10,000 retweets and I’ll run on the field! #Pats– #Steelers pic.twitter.com/7qlhFpZIZW

Roger Goodell and #NFL security just kicked me out #Gillette for a tweet. Not #Pats security but the #NFL.

Like this bullshit was really necessary @NFL? Have your security kick me out for a tweet & threaten me. Great job! pic.twitter.com/TgSDJA9Yd0

I'm not banned for life though. Notice how many people escorted me out. Shame on the #NFL and Goodell. #Kic… https://t.co/4dhpEqaNz4

While nobody likes getting thrown out of a sporting event they probably paid good money to get into, you probably shouldn’t tweet stuff like this in the first place. I personally have a low tolerance for the crazy fans who run out onto the field in the first place so I’m not incredibly sympathetic. On top of that, he just got removed for the night, could have been worse.
He went on to release a statement and is demanding an apology from the NFL.

I want an apology from the #NFL and Goodell. Nothing less. I say something 100′s of ppl joke about but you want to make me an example.

He may be waiting on that apology or awhile.
Do you think it was fair or foul that he was kicked out of the stadium for his tweet?
