Well it took Ndamukong Suh two games to start doing his own thing, and there maybe nothing head coach Joe Philbin can do about it.
According to Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald, the monster defensive tackle went off script — ignoring the play calls from defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle — while choosing to “freelance” at times even though he was causing confusion on the defense as a result.
Suh signed a six-year, $114-million contract with the Dolphins this offseason, but through two-games he has just two tackles and zero sacks.
“I couldn’t tell you,” Suh said when asked about his limited contribution. “At the end of the day, we have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what we want to run so guys can make plays and go from there.”
Suh is guaranteed a ton of money, and it’s probably cheaper to get a new head coach, than attempt to move him.
