David Atwood, a 25-year-old from Connecticut, was released into the custody of his mom, after he ran onto the field in the third quarter of the Giants’ 30-27 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at MetLife Stadium.
He’s now facing four charges as well.
1. Third-degree resisting arrest
2. Fourth-degree obstruction
3. Fourth-degree throwing of bodily fluids
4. TrespassingAt least one of the charges, fourth-degree obstruction, is a felony.
Atwood, wearing a 49ers jersey, ran onto the field early in the third quarter. He was tackled by security at around the 30-yard line.
