Eagles fans are some of the most optimistic, pessimist you’ll ever meet. An Eagles fans mood and weekly outlook on life usually revolves around how well the team did on Sunday.
With the offensive line finally firing on all cylinders, the Eagles laid the smack down on the New Orleans Saints.
That got fans like this super excited gentleman, pumped up for the future.
NBC 10 in Philadelphia caught up with some celebrating Eagles fans after Sunday’s 39-17 thumping of New Orleans.
One fan in particular, Bernard English, says he never stopped believing in Chip Kelly’s system, then proceeded to reference Muhammad Ali and Jiminy Cricket as motivation.
“When Muhammad Ali was down, did you count him out?” English asked. “When Jiminy Cricket was down, did you count him out?
“This is the comeback, Doug,” English continued. “Two and three! Did you see DeMarco Murray? This is the game, Doug! Wooh!”
Next Sunday could end up totally different if the Eagles don’t perform.
