LeSean McCoy has gotten off to a slow start with the Buffalo Bills, and after being ruled out for Week 4 versus the New York Giants he will take his time to get healthy.
McCoy spoke with Bill beat writer Joe Buscaglia of WKBW.com.
“One thing I promised myself is I can’t go out there if I’m not 100 percent,” McCoy said, via Joe Buscaglia of WKBW. “So, if it’s this game, or next game — whenever it is, I’m rushing to get back but I’m not playing until I’m 100 percent. To be honest, I’m not the bruising type. My thing is make people miss and get out of there. If you can’t do that, you can’t do nothing.“
With Shady out, rookie running back Karlos Williams will get a heavy work load.
The rookie out of Florida State has not disappointed with an impressive NFL leading 7.8 yards per carry and is tied for third with 3 touchdowns in his first three weeks.
Williams will aid Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor in carrying the offense, and should be a hot commodity in the fantasy football with a very favorable matchup against the Giants.
