The NFL is a quarterbacks league, and off the field they make nice endorsements checks as well.
According to Forbes, in 2015 the top four earning players in the league were all quarterbacks. Of course, coming in at number one is Denver Broncos own Peyton Manning.
Manning is all over the television with ads from most notably Papa John’s Pizza to driving cars for Buick. The Broncos quarterback is expected to earn $12 million this year.
To round out the top five: New Orleans Saints Drew Brees ($11 million), New York Giants Eli Manning ($8 million), Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers ($7.5 million), and Houston Texans J.J. Watt ($7 million).
