Well we expected this to start happening, and we’ll see if Chip Kelly can weather the storm?
The agent for one Philadelphia Eagles starting player told Matt Lombardo of NJ.com that Kelly has lost his players’ loyalty and is being tuned out.
“Chip Kelly has lost the team,” the agent, who requested anonymity over fear of retribution against his client, said. “Between the losses and his bull—- methods that aren’t working, I can tell you that the players have tuned him out.”
The agent also said one Eagles player was faking an injury because “he won’t play hurt for Chip.”
The Eagles fell to 4-6 with their 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in a game in which they were awful on both sides of the ball.
As bad as things have been, Philly sits just one game back of the New York Giants for the NFC East lead.
